For stills and motion shoots

From moodboard to delivery, the whole shoot in one project.

Write the shot list and Latentshoot works out the running order and the call sheet from it. After the shoot, you cull, edit and deliver the photographs without leaving the project.

No card. The free plan runs one shoot at a time, gallery included.

Show one chapter

Moodboard. Collect references, and attach each one to the shot it is for.

Shot list. Write every shot once, with its spec and how long it should take.

The day. Latentshoot gives every shot a start time and checks whether the pinned one makes its light, then writes the call sheet.

On set. Mark each shot captured on your phone, and the times after it move to match.

Cull and edit. Analyse suggests which shot each photograph came from, and you grade the one you want in Develop.

Delivery. The client selects photographs and downloads them from the share link you sent at the start.

The running order

Only two of these times were typed

This is day one of the lookbook in the screenshots, calculated on this page by the code the app runs. Each start time is the call time plus everything above it, so reorder two shots or change one estimate and every time below them follows.

Switch to 11:42 on the day to see the same list after a long morning, re-timed from how long each shot took.

Before the shoot

Moodboard

A moodboard that follows the shots onto the set

Drag files in, paste an address or search five photograph libraries without leaving the board. A picture from a library, or from a page that names its photographer, arrives with their name on it.

Attach a reference to a shot and it comes up on your phone when you reach that shot. Connect Pinterest and your saved pins are listed beside the libraries. More on the moodboard

Latentshoot’s moodboard, with section chips along the top for Everything, Direction, Location refs, Palette and Wardrobe. References in saturated yellow, teal and gold sit beside a set line in display type, a direction note listing flat light and one colour head to toe, a link card to a reference collected online, and named swatches with their hex values. Every photograph shows its photographer’s name.
The shot list’s first group, Outerwear, lettered A: five shots, each with its status (four captured, one retake), its title and tags, its size (WS, MWS, DET, MS), the angle, the focal length and aperture, the light and the location.

Shot list

Written in the abbreviations you already use

Size and angle as WS, MCU or DET, then lens, aperture, light, wardrobe and who is in it. Mark a shot as motion and it takes a camera move, a frame rate, sound and a clip length as well. Groups run in the order you shoot them, and tags cut across them for delivery.

The top of the call sheet, set on warm paper: Autumn/Winter lookbook for Halden & Rowe, Thursday 17 September 2026, unit call 07:30, estimated wrap 19:36, 16 shots, and a strip placing the day between sunrise and sunset with the pin to the light marked.

Call sheet

A call sheet nobody has to retype

Unit call, each person’s call time, the running order, the light, the location and the nearest hospital, all read off the day you planned. Change a shot at ten at night and the sheet changes with it. Send it as a link that needs no account, or print it.

On the day

25 minutes behind at 11:42, with two ways left to make the light

On-set mode puts the day on your phone in large type, one set-up at a time. It is on every plan, including Free, and it follows the phone’s light or dark setting, because a dark screen in direct sun is unreadable.

More on on-set mode

On-set mode on a phone at 11:42: 25 minutes late against the plan, a warning that the day is 19 minutes late for the 18:26 pin with two options, and the shot being taken now in large type (Cable knit, hands in pockets) with its spec, the time left, and buttons to retake, skip or mark it captured.
The day has run over: 19 minutes late for the 18:26 pin, with two ways to make it. Skip a set-up marked nice to have, Rooftop pair walking away, which makes the pin and brings the wrap back to 19:36. Or shoot Cliff path, walking wide last, which makes the pin and wraps at 20:11.
Mark it captured
Each tap records how long the set-up took, and the rest of the day is timed from that instead of your estimate.
When the day runs over
The phone offers to skip a set-up marked nice to have, or to move one to the end, and shows where each would leave the wrap. It never offers to skip a must-have.
No signal
Every tap saves to the phone before the screen changes and sends when the signal comes back. Open the day before you leave the car park.
For the crew and the client
A live link shows what is being shot and how the day is running, and updates by itself. It is part of Studio.

After the shoot

Client galleries

The photographs arrive on the link the client already has

Publish a collection from Lightroom Classic, or drag the exported files onto the Gallery screen. Add Gallery to the share link you sent with the moodboard, and the client sees the photographs in sets, selects the ones they want and downloads them at the size you allow. They do not need an account.

Because the gallery sits in the same project as the shot list, Latentshoot suggests which set-up each frame came from, by when it was taken. More on client galleries

The gallery as the client opens it, on two phones. The first shows the studio’s mark, the client’s name Halden & Rowe, the title Autumn/Winter lookbook and a cover photograph of a figure on a cliff path above the sea, reading “29 photographs · 4 sets” and “7 selected”. The second is further down: the Knitwear set, two of its photographs outlined with a filled tick.
The cover takes the title, the client and the dates from the project, so none of it is typed again.
Latentshoot’s Develop screen on one photograph of a figure walking into the sea at dusk, with a settings panel on the right showing a histogram and White balance, and beneath the photograph a strip of four versions (Original, Cover grade, Black and white and a 4:5), each with an eye button saying whether the client is shown it.

Develop and watermarks

Edit in the browser and leave the uploaded file alone

White balance, tone, colour, crop and masks, copied from one frame and pasted across the set-up. Tick Show in the gallery on a version and the client gets it as a photograph of its own. Your watermark goes on the copy they see and download, so the file you uploaded stays clean.

More on Develop · watermarks

The Photographs tab of a gallery after Analyse has run. A panel reads “All 26 photographs read” with three figures: 4 to look at again, 8 set-ups suggested and 9 tags suggested. Below, the Outerwear set of seven photographs of coats, and one frame of a man in sunglasses marked “Eyes ?” because the model could not see his eyes.

Analyse

Find the closed eyes and soft frames before the client does

Analyse marks the frames where somebody’s eyes are shut or the focus missed, and suggests a set-up and tags for each. It never rejects a frame itself, so what happens to a marked one is still your decision.

AI tools

Nothing is sent until you press a button marked AI

Every new gallery starts with sending switched off, and the team owner agrees once before anything goes. What is sent is a smaller copy of the photograph, or of the part you painted, to a service that does not keep it.

Publish your first gallery on Free and you are given 30 AI credits and 200 photographs to analyse. Pro includes 250 credits and 3,000 photographs a month.

What each tool sends, and what it costs

Extend in Develop, set to 16:9: a photograph of a woman in a camel coat walking into the sea, with hatched margins either side marked New area, and beneath it 16:9 · 2,134 × 1,200 px.
Extend set to a 16:9 banner. The model draws the hatched margins and nothing inside them.
Analyse
Reads each frame once and finds closed eyes, missed focus, a likely set-up and tags in that one reading.
Select from a description
Type “the sky” and Latentshoot masks it, ready to darken or warm with the mask’s own sliders.
Change
Paint over a wire or a pole and say what should change. Only the painted area is redrawn, and you can switch the change off again.
Extend
Add room round a photograph so it fits a 4:5 post or a 16:9 banner. Every pixel of the photograph itself is kept as it was.
Match a reference
Pick a reference and Latentshoot works out the settings that bring your photograph’s colour and tone towards it. You decide which of them to keep.

Is it for you

Where Latentshoot stops

Does it replace my CRM?

No. There are no enquiries, bookings, contracts or invoices in Latentshoot, and no print store. It covers the shoot itself and works beside whatever runs your business.

I shoot once a season. Is it worth it?

For one shoot a season a spreadsheet is fine, and so is the free plan. Latentshoot is for the shoot where the list changes the night before and the call sheet has to change with it.

Who else uses it?

Latentshoot is new, and there are no customer logos to show you. The free plan is there so you can judge it on a shoot of your own instead of taking our word for it.

Questions

Before you start

Do I have to keep the schedule up to date as well as the shot list?

No. Nothing in the schedule has a start time of its own. Every time you see is your call time plus everything above it, worked out again each time you look.

Reorder the list, change one estimate or drop a group, and every time below it moves.

Does Latentshoot work where there is no signal?

Yes, once the day is open on your phone. Taps you make without signal wait on the phone and send when it comes back, and on-set mode shows how many are still waiting.

How do the photographs get to the client?

Publish a collection with the Lightroom Classic plugin, or drag exported JPEG, PNG or WebP files onto the Gallery screen, then add Gallery to the share link you sent.

On Pro and Studio, each photograph can also keep its RAW file for Develop to edit from. The client never sees that file.

Are my photographs sent to an AI model?

Only when you press a button marked AI in a gallery set to allow it, after the team owner has agreed once for the team. Every new gallery starts with sending switched off.

The privacy policy names each outside service a photograph can go to, and none of them keep what they are sent.

Do my client and my crew need an account?

No. Your share link opens with no login at the other end, on any phone. You choose what each link shows (the moodboard, the shot list, the schedule, the call sheet or the gallery), and you can switch it off whenever you like.

The live link for the crew and the client is part of Studio. Your own on-set mode is on every plan, the free one included.

Does Latentshoot plan video as well as stills?

Both, on the same list. Mark a shot as motion and it has four more fields: the camera move, the frame rate, whether sound is recorded and how long the delivered clip runs. A clip is scheduled from the same estimated duration a photograph is, so a day of both comes out as one running order and one call sheet.

Is there a free plan, and do I need a card?

No card. The free plan gives you one active shoot at a time and 2 GB for references and delivered photographs. Planning, on-set mode, galleries, Develop and watermarks all work on it. When you publish your first gallery you are also given 30 AI credits and 200 photographs to analyse, once.

Pro is $24 a month for unlimited active shoots, 200 GB and 250 AI credits a month. Studio is $69 a month for 3 seats, 1 TB and the live link.

Start with your next shoot.

Give the day a date, a call time and a location, then write the shot list. The running order and the call sheet follow from them.

You do not need a card, or a call with anybody.
